The film is based on the screen play by Vinicious de Moraes (also screen writer of the "ORFEO NEGRO" directed by Marcel Camus) with whom the director worked closely in order to adapt in the most convincing manner the well-known legend in Brazil.
In this love story the heroes are enchanted by "the magic potion", without realizing that what is keeping them together without return is love.
Most of the roles are performed by Brazilian actors. The star is the French Pierre Barauh, with some of his films: A GIRL AND THE GUNS, GREAT MOMENTS, A MAN AND A WOMAN
